Welcome to our “new” department! We are a combined unit, comprised of two legacy departments: Bicultural-Bilingual Studies and Race, Ethnicity, Gender & Sexuality Studies. It is our honor to have you join us as you pursue an undergraduate, master’s, or doctorate degree. As a merged department, you will find a community of faculty who are amongst the most renowned in their respective fields and committed to empowering students. We will continue our strong tradition of preparing successful educators, researchers, scholars, public servants, and community leaders.
