The Psychological Assessment and Consultation Center (PACC) is a mental health service provider associated with the Department of Educational Psychology at UT San Antonio. The PACC provides supervised training experiences to student clinicians in the graduate-level school psychology programs. Student clinicians are supervised by licensed faculty members.
We offer assessment services for children and adolescents covering a range of concerns (e.g., learning challenges, attention difficulties, emotional difficulties, and developmental concerns). We also offer assessment services for adults currently enrolled in postsecondary institutions that have learning and/or attention concerns. See the Assessment Services page for more details.
We offer highly structured counseling/psychotherapy services to address specific child/adolescent and adult concerns. Therapy services are limited. See the Therapy Services page for more details.
Currently, we do not accept ‘walk-ins.’ All services are provided by appointment only. Persons visiting the PACC without a prior appointment will not be seen.
Additionally, the number of service appointments available is limited, so there is a chance that you will be added to a waitlist. We do not guarantee the immediate availability of services.
Services are not available during the summer months.
Currently, all services are provided free of charge.
We anticipate introducing a sliding-scale fee soon, and we will update this section once we have made that change. Any clients beginning services before we implement a sliding-fee scale will not be charged for any service.
