Faculty Overview

The College of Education and Human Development prepares professionals for leadership in education and human development organizations serving diverse populations across their life span. Faculty engage in a broad and robust program of research and provide extensive service to the community, the university, their profession, and the nation.

Dr. Mario Torres serves as Dean, providing leadership and administrative oversight and support to six departments, each led by Department Chairs, including the Department of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies, the Department of Counseling, the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, the Department of Educational Psychology, the Department of Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching, and the Department of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

 

Staff Overview

Our staff work within the Office of the Dean, and guide faculty and students to their needs within the college. Staff assistance ranges from Business Services, Technology Services, Communications, and more.

Business Service Center

Business Services provides assistance in administrative practices to a wide net of the Dean's unit.

Communications

COEHD Communications supports our message and voice by promoting all aspects of the college through various forms of media marketing, journalism, public relations, and web messaging. We offer faculty and staff assistance with content creation, event promotions, graphic design, story ideas, social media guidance, and/or web support.

Technology Support Services

The IT team is here to support faculty and staff with issues involving technology, and software, and provide printing services. We also offer Instructional Technology webinars for students and faculty. (currently offered virtually.)
