Evening Dinner
Noche de Florecimiento is an evening highlighting character development in education and the workforce while supporting the mission and impact of The Academy for Teacher Excellence (ATE) Research Center at UT San Antonio.
Guests are invited to enjoy dinner, live entertainment, and a silent auction in a welcoming setting that brings together stakeholders from all sectors, educators, campus partners, local organizations, and community supporters.

Silent Auction
Silent Auction Timeline
5:00 – Open Bidding
Bidding begins during guest check-in. Guests are invited to browse auction items and place bids using the bid sheets provided at each item display. Guests may continue bidding throughout check-in, networking, and dinner service.
8:00 PM – Silent Auction Closes
Bidding closes promptly. No additional bids will be accepted after this time.
8:15–8:30 PM – Winner Verification
Auction volunteers will verify the highest bids and prepare a list of winning bidders.
8:40 PM – Winner Announcement, Payment & Item Release
Winning bidders will be announced and asked to complete payment during the event. Items will be released following payment, or pickup instructions will be provided.
Bidding Instructions
- Print your full name clearly on the bid sheet
- Provide a legible phone number
- Enter your bid amount (must meet or exceed the listed minimum increment)
- The highest valid bid at closing time will be declared the winner
- Payment is required the same evening
Important Notes
- All sales are final
- Please review the bid sheets carefully before placing a bid
- Auction proceeds support the Academy for Teacher Excellence Research Center
- The winning bidder must be present at the time of collection. If the winning bidder is not available to claim the item immediately, the item will be awarded to the next highest bidder.

What is the dress code?
The dress code for Noche de Florecimiento is Business Casual.
Is my ticket tax-deductible?
A portion of your ticket or patronage contribution may be tax-deductible as allowed by law. Additional information will be provided following registration or upon request.
How does the silent auction work?
The Silent Auction opens at 5:00 PM during guest check-in and is conducted using paper bid sheets located at each item display. Guests may place bids throughout the early portion of the evening. Bidding closes promptly at 7:15 PM, and winning bidders will be notified during the event and asked to complete payment on site.
Where do I park?
Parking information and arrival details will be shared with registered guests prior to the event.
What if I need accessibility accommodations?

Can I sponsor if I can’t attend?
