Dr. Farias-Sokoloski is an Associate Professor of Instruction and assistant chair for the Department of Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching (ILT). She leads the UTSA-Edgewood ISD Teacher Residency program and together with Edgewood ISD, fosters opportunities for Teacher Residents to critically and continuously reflect on and implement culturally inclusive and responsive practices. Dr. Farias-Sokoloski brings more than a decade’s worth of experience serving as classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assisting in the planning and implementation of professional development courses that have been implemented at the campus and district level.
