Abraham DeLeon, Ph.D.

Bio

Abraham P. DeLeon is a Professor of the social foundations in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio. His work moves across the humanities and educational theory, focusing upon cultural studies, archival research, curriculum studies, and critical pedagogies. His current research explores the connections between social imaginaries and mythical pasts that points us towards new frontiers of critical inquiries, collectivities, and social transformation.
