TEACH: From Service to Classroom – Empowering Veterans to become Teachers is part of TEACH San Antonio's annual Inspire, Amplify, and Prepare series! This event will occur on July 9, 2025, at 6pm EST via Zoom.
This dynamic virtual event is designed specifically for veterans and service members interested in a career in education. Attendees will hear from veterans who have successfully transitioned into teaching, learn how military skills translate to the classroom, and get clear guidance on using the GI Bill and other military education benefits to fund their path to licensure and training.
The event will include:
- A panel including a veteran educator and a practitioner who works directly with veterans, both of whom will share more about their journeys, experiences, and advice
- Practical tips for navigating educator preparation programs
- Expert insights into leveraging military benefits, including the GI Bill
- A live Q&A with our expert panelists
