Join the San Antonio Public Library and the Mexican American Studies (MAS) program for the next MAS Community Scholars Plática Series, featuring Sonya Alemán, Ph.D.

Dr. Alemán, created the innovative MAS course at UTSA titled "Selena: A Mexican American Identity." She will present insights on the research process that informed her course and how Selena's life and career has influenced Mexican-American identity.
There will be a special Q&A, along with a tribute to Selena's music featuring the lead singers from Las Chicas en 512 and Bidi Bidi Banda.
