The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, in collaboration with the Urban School Leaders Collaborative (USLC), is pleased to announce the visit of Dr. Fernando Valle from Texas Tech University on Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. With his extensive background as a school administrator and researcher, Dr. Valle will share his valuable insights and experiences as a scholar-practitioner in leadership development. We invite you to join us for a plática to enhance our understanding of effective educational leadership in today's context.
About Dr. Fernando Valle
Fernando Valle, Ed.D., is a Professor in the Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Counseling Department at Texas Tech University. Previously, he was Department Chair, Educational Leadership Program Coordinator, and Director of Federal and State Grants. Dr. Valle has successtully secured over $12 million in external research funding to support his work on leadership development through a focus on social justice and critical perspectives, aimed at preparing the next generation of executive, school, and community leaders.
