The doctoral program involves full-time study and can be completed in three years. A 60-credit master’s degree in counseling from a CACREP-accredited program is preferred (other students may be admitted but will need to complete additional coursework). The comprehensive curriculum includes sequenced coursework, organized clinical experiences, and a series of research courses culminating in the dissertation project. A limited number of students will receive a substantial funding package (pending funding) that includes a paid graduate research assistantship, tuition and fees, health insurance, and a stipend.
