Strategic Educational Partnerships
The role of Strategic Educational Partnerships is to lead and guide UTSA in achieving its full potential to reach every community in and around San Antonio that will benefit from greater integration with the university to expand access to higher education and promote social and economic transformation for the region and its citizens.
We are charged to broaden, deepen, and strengthen existing programs with K-12, public, charter, and private schools, ISDs, and other community organizations oriented toward advancing access to higher education and increasing college-going for students in and around San Antonio; to facilitate community college transfers through seamless articulation; and to develop new innovative programs, relationships, and agreements.

Dual Credit Program
The UTSA Early Birds Dual Credit Program allows eligible juniors and seniors from high schools across San Antonio to earn college credits while still in high school.
Dual Language Community Lab Schools Partnership
Prefreshman Engineering Program
PREP is an academically rigorous mathematics-based summer enrichment program conducted at several college and university campuses in San Antonio.
Upward Bound
Upward Bound at UTSA is a TRiO program for select students attending Southside, Jay, and Holmes High Schools that provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance.
TRIO Educational Talent Search
Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a TRiO program that identifies and assists individuals from underrepresented backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education.
