Psychological Assessment & Consultation Center

Welcome

The UTSA Psychological Assessment and Consultation Center (PACC Lab) and clinic are used by students in the Masters in School Psychology program. Although primarily used as a training facility where students have access to psychological assessment materials, work areas, books and reference materials, and evaluation rooms, students also provide psychological, educational, and consultation services to area schools, staff, and families.

Our Mission

The Psychological Assessment and Consultation Center (PACC) serves as a training site and resource for graduate students in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. The primary goals of the PACC are to (a) provide meaningful training experiences to UTSA student clinicians and (b) provide high quality psychological services to the community.

Services and Projects

The Psychological Evaluation Project is an affiliated project under the PACC. The purpose of the project is to provide comprehensive psychological evaluation services to children and adolescents in the San Antonio area.  Services are provided by student clinicians as part of a training program in the Department of Educational Psychology.  Student clinicians are supervised by licensed mental health professionals.  Typical services include: cognitive assessments, academic strengths and weaknesses, learning disability assessments, and ADHD assessments. For more information, please call (210) 458-2845.

The San Antonio Applied Behavior Analysis (SAABA) Project is an affiliated project under the PACC. SAABA is a collaborative effort between the Autism Treatment Center, The Children's Hospital of San Antonio (The CHofSA), and the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Department of Educational Psychology. SAABAs mission is to improve outcomes for individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities (AUIDD) in school, home, and community settings and to train UTSA graduate students to use evidence-based methods with this population via research, teaching, and service. For more information, please see the project website: https://sites.google.com/view/saaba/home.
