Democratizing Racial Justice (DRJ), a research and creative scholarship project in San Antonio, has announced ten artists who will be participating in the inaugural year of its artist residency program.

The UTSA Democratizing Racial Justice (DRJ) Project is hosting a panel discussion on oppressive conditions in the workplace from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, in the Buena Vista Street Building Theater (BVB 1.326) at the UTSA Downtown Campus. The event, Workers on the Rise: The State of Labor in San Antonio, is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is required.

UTSA has been awarded a three-year, $5 million grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support the university’s community partnerships in advancing racial justice.
