Hometown: Piedras Negras, Coahuila  

What was your favorite class and/or who was your favorite professor? Why? BBL 4033 with Dr. Garcia 

What would you say is the most important thing you’ve learned over the course of your studies? Creating a multicultural environment in my classroom. 

How has COVID impacted you, either personally or professionally? The last two years were very different because I wasn't able to socialize or meet my classmates in person. 

What are your plans for the future and/or your career? I plan to become a bilingual teacher and create a safe learning environment for my students. 

What has brought you inspiration during this time? E.g., music, books, people, etc. My family and friends. 

You’ve been given the opportunity to have coffee with any notable figure from your field, alive or dead. Who is it, and what does each of you order? Mrs. Grace Treviño, I'd order a black coffee and Mrs. Treviño would order a coffee with cream and extra sugar.
