I enjoy the outdoors, reading romance books, and dancing. I love my fur babies. I hope to impact kids and have a student grow up remembering me. I chose UTSA because it’s close to home.

What was your favorite class and/or who was your favorite professor? Why?

Dr. Craig; she was so much fun and silly. Also, a bonus that I love math!

What would you say is the most important thing you’ve learned over the course of your studies?

Acceptance and understanding of all students’ thinking, needs, appearance, accommodation, actions, etc.

Describe any professional experiences or internship opportunities you have had.

Clinicals has been really eye opening in learning what goes on behind the scenes on campus.

What is your fondest memory of your time at UTSA?

Lectures in person and having great discussions with no hard feelings because everyone’s an adult.

How has COVID impacted you, either personally or professionally?

Definitely taught me to adjust to technology!

What are your plans for the future and/or your career?

I’m considering continuing school for my master’s.

What has brought you inspiration during this time? E.g., music, books, people, etc. The kids.

You’ve been given the opportunity to have coffee with any notable figure from your field, alive or dead. Who is it, and what does each of you order? I would love to play[?] Surakarta with our current First Lady and wonder why she hasn’t advocated more for us teachers, knowing she comes from a background in education.
