UTSA Halloween features “Frankenstein” and Trick-or-Treat on the Paseo

Literature, movie, and horror fans will have the opportunity to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's novel "Frankenstein" with the UTSA libraries complete with a viewing of the 1931 film adaptation on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the John Peace Library, North Commons, Second Floor. A 30-minute discussion on the impact of the novel and its evolution will introduce the film, led by faculty from the English, Music and Medical Humanities departments. 


A "Frankenstein" exhibit showcasing the 200-year adaptation will be on display until Wednesday, Oct. 31, and will include movies, comic books, biopics and more.  Costumes are welcome and anniversary cake will be served while supplies last. 


The UTSA Student Government Association along with Hunter Kim, Mr. UTSA, will host Trick-or-Treat on the Paseo, complete with a costume contest, games, and other festivities on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
