ILT professor named program chair of AERA SIG

Dr. Rosalind Horowitz, professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching, has been elected as the program chair for the Special Interest Group (SIG) on Research in Reading and Literacy of the American Educational Research Association for 2019-2022. Her appointment begins May 1, 2019, when she initiates program planning for the 2020 AERA Conference to be held in San Francisco. 

The Research in Reading and Literacy SIG has 500 members. AERA has 15,000 members, and is the largest educational research organization in the world.
