Educational Leadership and Policy Studies starts the Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership

According to the JCEL website, which is published by SAGE, the “journal offers a wide range of cases that embody relevant and timely presentations of issues germane to the preparation of educational leaders.” The journal is housed in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the College of Education and Human Development.


The purpose of the peer-reviewed cases is to use in educational leadership preparation that has created an impact globally. The Journal’s website states “The cases provide a narrative and teaching notes with the aim being to prompt rich discussion and inquiry about issues pertinent to educational leadership across global contexts.”


Dr. Curtis Brewer serves as Editor of Chief, Elisha Reynolds serves as Managing Editor, Dr. Nathern Okilwa and Mariela Rodriguez and Dr. Mark Giles serve as Associate Editors.
