Dietetics students win Iron CHEF competition

Victoria Resendez and Amanda Stelter, first-year dietetic students from the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Nutrition, won the 2nd Annual Iron CHEF competition hosted by The Children's Hospital of San Antonio's Culinary Health Education for Families (CHEF) program. The students cooked a vegetarian harvest grain bowl, honey balsamic brussel sprouts, and pumpkin pie energy bites. The guest judges for the annual competition included Chef Maria Palma; Celina Para, Registered Dietitian; and Kevin Matamoro, Chef and Patient Services Coordinator for The Children's Hospital of San Antonio.
