Message from the Chair

Welcome to the Department of Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching Department. We focus on teacher education from an interdisciplinary and social justice perspective. We offer a variety of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs that will help you reach your goals. We also offer a variety of student organizations that will not only help you engage in civic responsibility but also will help you make long lasting friendships as a Roadrunner! In addition, if you are looking for opportunities to engage in research, we have several centers that will allow you to gain or enhance your research skills such as the Teacher Education Autism Model or TEAM Center, La Plaza de Lectura/The Reading Place, and the San Antonio Writing Project. In addition, you can work closely with faculty who are experts in their field.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Go Runners!
