Welcome

The Field Experience Program is designed to develop teaching skills in the context of a school setting. It allows students to participate in a variety of teaching situations in a variety of school settings, especially inner city, low income, high minority settings. The students gain an understanding of the needs of diverse learners. Lastly, field experiences allow for school partnerships that facilitate the development of preservice teachers, support the teaching process on each campus and improve student achievement in the public schools.

The Office of Teacher Education Services has moved to the Main Building 3.310. Please call 210-458-5420 for more information.
