Research Assistant with Quantitative Research Experience

The Urban Education Institute is seeking a quantitative research assistant to participate in mixed-methods research projects. Preferred candidates will have quantitative research experience and statistical software coding skills. The research assistant will work with the director of on all stages of research from research design to publication of findings. 

Primary duties include writing code in STATA (or a similar statistical software program language) to prepare data for analysis, creating tables and figures to describe data, and performing statistical analyses at the direction of a senior researcher. 

Eligible applicants include undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students at UTSA. 

Independent study credit may be created from this work experience.

Applicants must have experience using STATA or a similar statistical software program language.

Preference will be given to students of the College of Education and Human Development assuming all other qualifications are equal.

Work schedule: up to 19 hours per week.

Wage: $15 to $25 per hour.
