Teacher Certification Program (Undergraduate)

Teacher Certificate programs have been designed to meet the standards for teacher certification set by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC).

M.A. in Education - Teacher Certification Program (MAECIT)

Earn a Masters of Arts in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction with a certification to teach in middle grade classrooms. Currently, students may select one of two certification tracks to teach in grades 4-8: Mathematics/Science or English Language Arts and Reading/Social Studies.

The program is designed for students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from any regionally-accredited community college.
