The Center is focused on research and policy dealing with the success of students across the P-20 educational system. Some of our current projects include:
• Latino/a Student Completion Project—involves research on Latino/a college completion funded by TG
• Diplomas Project Evaluation—involves research on Latino/a student success in San Antonio, funded by the Lumina Foundation in collaboration with the San Antonio Education Partnership and Café College
• PERSPECTIVAS—a policy brief series on issues impacting Latino/a student success in collaboration with the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education and ETS
• National Latino Education Research Initiative—in collaboration with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities

Laura Rendon grew up in the barrios of Laredo, Texas. From there, she began her journey to academia through community colleges and institutions around the United States. Today she remains one of the most respected scholars on educational opportunity in the nation.
