A Message from the Associate Dean:

Thank you for you interest in the College of Education and Human Development (COEHD) Downtown campus. This site will inform you about our program offerings in Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Mexican American Studies. Included is information that we believe will be useful to prospective, present, and former students, in addition to donors, colleagues, and friends of the COEHD Downtown Campus. At the Downtown Campus, we take great pride in the role we are playing nationally and internationally, in transforming today’s education and human services programs into a better quality of life for our students, families, and community. As you browse our website, you will meet our extraordinarily diverse, talented and dedicated faculty and staff, many of whom rank among the world’s most renowned authorities in their respective fields. Members of our faculty are regularly cited in the most prestigious journals.

Currently, the COEHD Downtown Campus offers two Master’s degree programs in Counseling and School Psychology, with a BA in Mexican American Studies. Additionally, we have a Ph.D. program in Counselor Education and Supervision. We also have many courses and certifications you can complete at the COEHD Downtown Campus. Please refer to the specific department for details.
