Purpose of Program

The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Early Childhood-Grade 6 Core Subjects Certification) prepares students to pursue a career as an educator in an early childhood through sixth grade setting. The minimum number of semester credit hours required for the IDS degree with Early Childhood-“Grade 6 Core Subjects Certification is 125, at least 39 of which must be at the upper-division level.
